I started learning about the subconscious mind for weight loss way before I used it properly. I spent years not applying it for long enough for it to have an affect. Or being skeptical of it which made me give up before I could really see it’s benefits.
Your subconscious mind controls a lot of what you do, just think sometimes you drive home and can’t remember the drive. How did you get home if consciously you were thinking of other things? Your subconscious mind took over because you have taken the same route enough times!

I personally think it’s quite normal because it can take time to really realise which is the voice that helps you and which ends up hindering you!
Your higher self will align with your desires and you will end up feeling better. This doesn’t mean that you don’t experience discomfort, growth is messy but the outcome is always worth it and you end up not having to rebound in weight gain when you learn to master the voices in your head!

Resistance can build up when you put pressure on yourself to shift rather than feeling the emotion.

Getting upset and reactionary to when you fall back into old patterns won’t help you overcome emotional eating.
Feeling uncomfortable about where you are now will not serve you in your up-levelling, overcoming emotional eating and ultimately losing weight.

Stressing about your weight all the time has created a habit of activating the fearful part of your brain called the amygdala.
The amygdala has become hyper-sensitized around food and weight situations which causes you to shift from higher thinking parts of the brain to the automatic & reflexive parts of the brain.
This leads to rigid decision making which generally leads to destructive behaviours around food.
Hence why you wonder in hindsight why you sabotage your best efforts to lose weight.
