Your habitual thought patterns are what create how you feel about your weight. So you want to lose weight because you want to feel good about yourself - but how you feel about yourself has to do with the neural pathways activated in your brain.
You want to lose weight to feel less self conscious, more confident, attractive, worthy, deserving, but you also want to feel good around food - you want a positive experience around food. The questions my listeners asked me then is - so do I have to be happy all the time no matter my circumstances in order to lose weight?
We want to change our circumstances to be happy, so why is happiness such a huge price to pay? Listen to the episode to learn more about if you have to be happy all the time in order to manifest weight loss.

Day 4 Replay!
Day 4 is about really getting this into your head: You are at the weight you are currently at because of the stories that you are currently a match to.
This challenge is a process of shifting your beliefs and emotions about yourself. It's also accepting the ego, accepting the negative thoughts and not making them mean that you are screwed up or that you are doing something wrong or that you are on the wrong path.. because you aren't.
It's okay to honor how you feel about it right now rather than beating yourself up about where you are.
If you focus on your energy you can implement all that I am teaching you for weight loss. The ego is going to tell you that you cannot do it but that is not true. Remember, the negative voice inside your head is a liar.
Manifesting isn't about getting instant success, it's about spiritual growth. If you keep going you can experience the same level as success that myself and all of my clients have experienced, I promise.

DAY 3 REPLAY!
Today I'm going through some of the things that are coming up from the homework from all of you that are participating in the challenge.
Working hard, weight loss means pain, I feel like I can't have it all, I don't want to stop eating what I like, I feel like I will never lose weight - These are some of the snippets from the homework that I found while sorting through and I want to talk about this with you.
Fun fact: You all are the same as I used to be and you all are very similar with what you are going through. These feelings are normal, trust me.
I credit where I am now to everything that I am teaching you through this challenge and all of my courses. This stuff works when you work it.
When you say things like "I am associating weight loss with pain, struggle and deprivation." That an association you have created and a self fulfilling prophecy.
You have to change your perception in order to change your reality. You have to change your perception in order to change your experience.
You can overcome it. It's a process, but it is totally possible for you.

DAY 2 REPLAY!
Today is all about the emotions behind your weight and what purpose your weight holds for you.
Food serves a purpose for us but your weight also can serve a purpose. There can be reasons why we hold onto weight and this can be for safety, security, it's about your unmet needs, your self doubts, the dissatisfaction you have with life, boredom, feeling empty, or maybe you feel taken advantage of.
We have developed issues with getting our needs met and all the things listed above and then we develop weight and food issues and then we develop limiting beliefs such as "I'm lazy" or "I have a slow metabolism." We develop these limiting beliefs to add meaning to why we are struggling but sometimes that reason actually limits us even more.
We are not here to suffer around food and weight. You are suffering because of the negative associations and relations that you have with food and weight that is causing your suffering. There is emotional work to be done.
People are focusing on diet and exercise and that is part of the equation, yes. But it is also the mental associations that you have because your behavior is going to stem from your emotions.
Dieting gets a bad rap because of the relationship it can create with food. It's not just the dieting that is the issue, it's also the energy you are in.
This isn't just about weight loss, this is about creating your desired outcome. You don't just want to lose weight, you also want ease around your food decisions.

139 // Why You Avoid Being Consistent With Your Eating

If you are anything like me you have trouble staying consistent.
Why? Because you are codependent and are constantly putting yourself out and putting others first. You have to get your needs met by food. You’re a perfectionist. You have to overeat because you are drained of energy. The list goes on and on.
Truth is, you need to start listening to your body and be more of an intuitive person and reframe the way you perceive success. You need to learn to not give a fuck and learn how to live your life.
How do you make your decisions around food? That is the real question. If you are not being consistent that is linked to your decisions around food and your decision making around food depends on your belief systems and your emotions.
Just because you are struggling does not mean you are not growing. It is a process. You will have your ups and downs. Trust me. I had to rise above and decide that I was going to create a new reality for myself and that is what I want for you.
When you say you are having trouble staying consistent you are falling for that story that you have to continue to struggle.
Your idea of being consistent is not by being consistent. It is by being perfect. And success is not created by perfectionism.
If you are saying you struggle it is because you need to change your perception of what consistency means to you. We will be doing this in my upcoming programs.

It's not just about losing the weight, Babe. It's about losing the lifestyle that got you there.
I'm not here to tell you that you should ditch eating chocolate and ditch eating ice cream because that's your poor lifestyle and you're a bad person if you order takeaway, okay?
What I'm here to tell you is that shame has been imposed on you. That shame surrounds food and the guilt and is actually coming from toxic shame that's been imposed on you from others. It actually has nothing to do with food at all but we're all spreading more and more shame and guilt. Instead of getting to the root of these weight issues we're worried about if we are doing the right thing around food.
There's nothing wrong with setting an intention to lose weight and following through. What the issue is is the shame and the guilt that is there and the shame and the guilt is there because there is work to be done on the psyche and moving beyond the childhood trauma that causes us to carry toxic shame and guilt, because how you do one thing is how you do everything.
This is more than just about your weight. Your weight is like the symptom of a deeper issue that is coming from your childhood and that needs to be healed and then you can do whatever you like with your weight because it will be very simple and straightforward if you choose to do something about it.
It's about developing autonomy so that you know you are in charge of that decision and no one else. People are saying anti-diet but they are encouraging people to not listen to themselves and they are still encouraging this codependency and merging with others.
Learn to trust yourself enough so that you do not need to be told what to do. You know and trust that you are being guided, that you know what is right for you. That if you want to lose weight, you can.

Is it possible to diet in alignment?
The answer is YES.
Alignment and intuitive eating is about connection.
The dieting mindset is what causes people to feel like they're doing something bad or wrong if they don't stick to a diet.
Dieting and Alignment means you know you're in charge. You're not seeking permission from anyone about what you should be eating. You have structures that you can follow but you are always prioritizing how you feel.
Majority of the time people are trying to go on diets when really they should be working on their relationship to food.
You have to start where you are rather than trying to sign up for "the next full weight challenge" when really all you need is to work on healing your relationship to food.
